When to Click the Petition Checkbox?

Whenever you see the word petition in parentheses (sometimes it is misspelled as petiton), usually at the end of line 2 (see Example #1 below) or at the end of the full quotation (see Example #2 below), you will use your mouse to click the Petition checkbox. I circled the relevant area in red.

Example #3: This card illustrates a very strict rule: The only time we click the Petition checkbox is when the word petition is in parentheses. Not petitioner, not petitioned, just petition. So in this case, the word petitioned is really part of the rest of line 2. We don't click the petition checkbox.
