Louis Gregory Institute

This organization, named after Louis Gregory, is affiliated with the Baha'i Faith and in promoting multi-racial unity among all peoples. One of the ways that the Institute does this is through the facilitation of Race Unity workshops for communities. Also, the Institute offers one or sometimes two annual prizes to organizations that are outstanding in their efforts to reach out and bring people together. Finally, the Institute is home to Radio Baha'i which centers its programming very much around this unity theme through its music, guest speakers, and hosts. Some of the programs that are aired deal with African American history and contributions to the formation of the U.S. as well as race relations issues.
